International students

If you're applying to us from outside the UK, we have helpful advice that's specific to you on our international pages.

The first steps toward applying for undergraduate study

We offer undergraduate courses beginning in September and January of each year. They range from traditional undergraduate BA, BSc and BEng degrees to one-year top-up courses and degrees that start with a foundation year.

Choose a course

The University's academic structure is organised into six academic schools, with subjects ranging from computing, science, business, law and social sciences to art, architecture and design. View a full list of the undergraduate courses we offer.

Check the entry requirements

To study an undergraduate degree here you may need to have studied a specific subject or achieved certain grades at school or college. Make sure you check the entry requirements on the relevant course page before applying. Remember, we also welcome applications from mature students whose experience may be accepted in place of traditional qualifications.

Apply

The application process varies depending when you want to begin your studies, whether you're a UK or international student and what time of year you apply.

If you're from the UK and want to start a full-time undergraduate degree in September, you need to apply through the (UCAS), except during Clearing when you can choose to apply to us directly.

If you're an international student you can choose to apply direct to the University from your chosen course page or through UCAS for courses beginning in September.

Anyone wishing to study full-time in January or part-time in January or September should apply to us directly from the relevant course page.

Mature students

If you're over 21, committed and hold relevant experience, we would welcome you to apply for one of our undergraduate courses. Read more about applying as a mature student.
