Study Abroad programme

If you're a non-UK student, our Study Abroad programme is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend part of your degree living in London, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. Join us for an unforgettable semester or year of full immersion and integration into a new and exciting culture, while gaining academic credit towards your degree at your home institution. You'll also have the opportunity to complete an internship in a London-based company (for an additional fee).

The Study Abroad programme at London Met has been partnered with the State University of New York at Cortland for more than 30 years. We have many other partners including the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) based in Reno, ISEP, and public and private universities all around Europe.

We have supported students from the United States of America, New Zealand, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, Russia, Turkey and most countries in Europe through the Study Abroad programme and we look forward to welcoming many more students in the future.

Exchange programme

If you are a student at one of London Met's exchange partner institutions, you should contact your home university's international office as a first step. Once your home university has nominated you to us as an exchange student, we will send you further details about the exchange application procedure. Please note that UK universities no longer participate in the Erasmus programme following the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
